I completed General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive program in March 2021. Although I had always had a keen interest in technology, this bootcamp is what really got me started in software development.
Take a look at some of the projects I worked on during my time in General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive program
Before beginning my journey through General Assembly's Software Engineering Bootcamp, I was tasked with creating an in-browser game using JavaScript, HTML & CSS. It was this where it all started, the project that gained me admittance to General Assembly and started my journey into the world of code
Go Ahead and Give it a Try!This simple Tic-Tac-Toe game was built using ReactJS and features a fully stateful user interface. This was built to demonstrate useState and hooks in React. You can even rewind back to a previous move if you make a mistake!
Play Tic-Tac-Toe!Snake was one of my favorite games growing up, and once I learned ReactJS, I knew I had to try building a snake app. Not only does it keep track of the high score, it also features a totally mouseless gameplay. Just press the spacebar to start your game over
Play Snake! This application was built for an assignment while a student at General Assembly. While learning ReactJS we did a segment on integrating 3rd-party APIs into our apps. For this assignment we used the US Geological Survey's earthquake API to plot recent earthquake data on Google Maps.
